it's been this way for so long it doesn't seem like anyone cares like they did before if they would read it they would get it but they pass his page now 4 years a thousand bottles ago he was topping all the charts yeah his words had heart and if he had a second chance you know he'd make amends this time

he remembers when he told himself that he'd never sell out but his words wore out and when he tries to move ahead he's blocked by promises he said he never meant to hurt you he's older "wiser" self assured a broken promise is just a misspoken word he's not self
centered he just doesn't care
